2037 Walnut Street, Boulder, CO

Completed 2014

Inspired by the stunning natural setting surrounding the project, 2037 Walnut reflects Element’s ability to blend luxury and affordability. Fulfilling a significant need for housing in Boulder’s downtown area, 2037 Walnut offers substantially renovated townhouse-style studio and two-bedroom units that include new kitchens and bathrooms, stainless steel appliances, new hardwood flooring, a spacious private patio and more. Each detail of the 26-unit apartment building was carefully selected and quality crafted to invite comfort and exude modern elegance. Located in the Whittier South neighborhood, 2037 Walnut is designed to take advantage of the neighborhood’s ideal walkability and unique character. In partnership with Burke Builders, Element transformed what was once an unattractive building with an unremarkable aesthetic into a magnificent and energy-efficient community that gives residents easy walking access to Canyon Park, restaurants, retail and public transportation. Sprawling outdoor spaces, landscaping and open-air walkways draw the building’s formerly insular focus to the street level and enhance the building’s communal aspect by encouraging neighborly interaction. A sophisticated acquisition rehab project, 2037 Walnut demonstrates Element’s creative approach to neighborhood revitalization.
